# Cruise Itinerary > Cruise Itinerary (cruise-itinerary.com) is a keyed JSON API over a register of future cruise sailings from 43 cruise lines: lines, ships, ports, sailings, day-by-day itineraries, weekly fare history, monthly port capacity, a change feed with webhooks and an entity resolver. It also publishes the free weekly Cruise Price Index. Operated by Agile Travel Group, Inc. (operated as Cruiseable). How to read the data: - Fares are weekly snapshots captured every Monday since 2026-09-06, as lead-in fares in US dollars. They are not live or bookable prices. A missing fare means the cabin is not offered or is sold out. - Itinerary days are exact where the line's published itinerary was fetched (`day_confidence: exact`); elsewhere they are estimated and flagged. Day-level port schedules are published with every estimated day marked; against Cruise Line Agencies of Alaska's official schedule, about 89% of calls fall on the exact date. Monthly totals are reliable. - Capacity is in lower berths, not passengers. - Coverage is strongest for North American and international lines. TUI/Marella, AIDA, Saga and Fred. Olsen are not in the register, and Hapag-Lloyd is listed with no sailings. ## API - [API documentation](https://cruise-itinerary.com/docs): every endpoint with real example responses - [OpenAPI specification](https://cruise-itinerary.com/openapi.json): the machine-readable contract - [Pricing](https://cruise-itinerary.com/pricing): Free (500 calls a month), Developer, Business and Platform plans, all self-serve - [Coverage](https://cruise-itinerary.com/coverage): lines, ships, sailings and fare coverage by line - [MCP server](https://cruise-itinerary.com/mcp): remote MCP endpoint for Claude, ChatGPT and other clients; OAuth sign-in or an API key as a bearer token - [Get a free key](https://cruise-itinerary.com/signup) ## Cruise Price Index - [This week's index](https://cruise-itinerary.com/price-index): the same sailings compared Monday to Monday, base 100 on 2026-09-06 - [Methodology](https://cruise-itinerary.com/price-index/methodology): matched sailings, chained mean log change, caveats ## Cruise statistics (refreshed every Monday, each table also as CSV) - [All statistics](https://cruise-itinerary.com/stats) - [Which cruise fares were cut the most this week?](https://cruise-itinerary.com/stats/fare-cuts): share of sailings cut by line, the 50 biggest cuts by sailing - [How much does a cruise cost per night?](https://cruise-itinerary.com/stats/cruise-price-per-night): by line, region and cabin - [How much cruise capacity is scheduled for 2026, 2027 and 2028?](https://cruise-itinerary.com/stats/cruise-capacity): ships, sailings and lower berths by region and year, ships entering service - [How many cruise fares are sold out or unavailable?](https://cruise-itinerary.com/stats/sold-out-cruises): missing fares by line and departure quarter (a missing fare means sold out or not offered) - [Which cruise ports get the most ships on one day?](https://cruise-itinerary.com/stats/busiest-cruise-ports): peak days by ocean ships and lower berths, 50 ports ## Cruise ship schedules by port - [All ports](https://cruise-itinerary.com/ports): a day-by-day cruise ship schedule for every port with 20 or more calls in the next 12 months, busiest first and by region - Each port: https://cruise-itinerary.com/ports/ (calls by month, the next calls, how exact the dates are), e.g. [Juneau](https://cruise-itinerary.com/ports/juneau), [Nassau](https://cruise-itinerary.com/ports/nassau), [Barcelona](https://cruise-itinerary.com/ports/barcelona) - Each month: https://cruise-itinerary.com/ports//, every ship by day with arrival and departure times where the line publishes them, e.g. [Juneau, July 2027](https://cruise-itinerary.com/ports/juneau/2027-07) ## Guides - [All guides](https://cruise-itinerary.com/guides) - [Are cruise prices going up or down right now?](https://cruise-itinerary.com/guides/are-cruise-prices-going-up-or-down): weekly index change by line, region, cabin and booking window - [How much more does a balcony cabin cost than an inside cabin?](https://cruise-itinerary.com/guides/balcony-vs-inside-cabin-price): balcony premium by cruise line and cruise length - [Which cruise lines have the most sailings scheduled through 2030?](https://cruise-itinerary.com/guides/cruise-lines-most-sailings-through-2030): sailings and ships by line and year - [Is there an API for cruise itineraries and prices?](https://cruise-itinerary.com/guides/cruise-itinerary-and-price-api-comparison): dated comparison of cruise data APIs - [How do I give Claude or ChatGPT access to cruise data?](https://cruise-itinerary.com/guides/cruise-data-in-claude-and-chatgpt): MCP setup for Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT and the APIs ## Sister sites, same operator and same data - [Cruiseable](https://cruiseable.co/): the consumer cruise site: ships, lines, destinations, every cruise with its itinerary and weekly fares - [Port Day](https://getportday.com/): cruise ship capacity by port and month for ports, destinations and tour operators (reports on request) ## Optional - [Terms](https://cruise-itinerary.com/terms) - [Privacy](https://cruise-itinerary.com/privacy) - Contact: hello@cruise-itinerary.com
