TL;DR

Cruise Itinerary publishes a free day-by-day cruise ship schedule for 741 ports, every port with at least 20 calls in the next 12 months, from 43 cruise lines' itineraries reloaded each Monday. The busiest are Vienna, Budapest, Amsterdam, Cologne. 11% of call dates are estimated and marked as such.

Which cruise ports are busiest in the next year?

The busiest cruise ports over the next 12 months are Vienna, Budapest, Amsterdam, Cologne, Nassau, counting one call per ship per day in port. River ports rank high because river ships call almost daily on short itineraries. Among ocean ports, the Caribbean, Florida and Alaska lead, since the register covers North American lines best.

Calls are summed over the port's entries, so a ship listed under two spellings of one port on the same day can count twice here; each port page counts it once. Crowding by day, ships and berths: Port Day, monthly cruise demand by port.

Where can I find every port's cruise schedule?

Each port page lists its cruise ship calls by month and by day, with arrival and departure times where the cruise line publishes them and every estimated day marked. Ports are grouped here by region; a port with fewer than 20 calls a year has no page.

How exact are these cruise ship schedules?

Embarkation and disembarkation days are exact, and so is every call on a cruise whose line publishes its day-by-day itinerary. Other calls are placed by sailing distance and marked "est.". Against Cruise Line Agencies of Alaska's official schedule, 94% of calls fall on the exact date and 97% within a day.

Schedules come from the cruise lines' own itineraries, not from port authorities, and lines change them; the register reloads every Monday. Coverage is strongest for North American lines. TUI Cruises, Marella, AIDA, Saga, Fred. Olsen and Hapag-Lloyd are not covered, so European ports show fewer calls than they get. Coverage by line.
