How many cruise fares are sold out or unavailable?
Last updated · figures from the Monday load of · refreshed weekly
In the load of 28 September 2026, 38.1% of cruise cabin fares across 61,010 sailings show no price, which means the cabin is sold out or not offered, and 12.9% of sailings have no fare in any cabin. AmaWaterways has the highest share of unpriced sailings among lines with fares, 54.0%.
The supplier feed carries a fare per cabin category for every future sailing, inside, oceanview, balcony and suite, but no sold-out flag. A missing fare therefore means the cabin is sold out or simply not offered on that ship, and this page cannot tell the two apart. Ships with no suites, or river ships with no inside cabins, always show some missing fares.
Which cruise lines have the most sold-out sailings?
AmaWaterways has the highest share of sailings with no fare in any cabin, 54.0% of 3,199, in the load of 28 September 2026; across all lines the figure is 12.9%. A sailing with no fare at all is the closest sign of a sell-out the feed gives, though a line can also pull a sailing from sale.

Star Clippers and Vidanta World show no fares at all because the supplier feed carries none for them, so they are left out of the ranking.

Frequently asked questions
How can I tell if a cruise is sold out?
Check the cruise line or an agent for the specific sailing and cabin. In this register, a cabin with no fare is either sold out or not offered on that ship; the supplier feed does not say which. A sailing with no fare in any cabin is very often sold out, or withdrawn from sale.
What share of cruises are sold out right now?
In the load of 28 September 2026, 12.9% of 61,010 future cruise sailings show no fare in any cabin and 38.1% of cabin fares are missing. Those are upper bounds on sell-outs, since a cabin can also be missing because the ship does not have it or the line has not released it.
Does a cruise come back on sale after it sells out?
Often, yes. Cancellations and released group space put cabins back on sale, and a cabin that shows no fare one Monday can be priced the next. The register keeps every weekly snapshot since 6 September 2026, so the fare history of a sailing shows when a cabin went and returned.
